The idea of being strong is that when things get tough, your heart won't break from the pain or from seeing your partner destroy everything around them because they don't even give a damn about their own life anymore. Most people will tell you that they are strong but will admit to breaking down in moments when things get difficult or when they feel helpless over their situation in life.
